Hidden Beauty celebrates the forms and patterns lying beneath the surface of various flowers. Most flower photographs concentrate on either entire blossoms or close-ups of petal tops, pistils and stamens. As dramatic as these images can be there is a subtle elegance and symmetry to be found in the reverse side of petals, and the receptacles, sepals and stalks which support and protect them. This different perspective encourages a more complete appreciation of the complexity of flowers and their natural design.
